The first one was funny ! the second one I did not quite get , I mean why was he pretending not to be a muslim ? he should have confidence .
amal, my reading of the 2nd one is that no matter how he tried to blur his muslim-ness and tried to be over-presentable to “others”, at the end of it all, the man in the elevator still only saw him in the stereotypical terrorist way… so the message is just be your confident Muslim self – it’s not all about trying (as in Bassem is TRYING) over eagerly to make people think such and such of you.
The first video is very cute indeed.
